In order to make authors able to create pages within Xitex WebContent M1 there must be at least one design template for site’s pages. This means an HTML document with predefined site’s graphical appearance and content placement areas.
With Xitex WebContent M1 you can create templates right in the system. For this reason simply click the “Add” button in the Site-Templates window. The template’s attributes window appears immediately where you can define the name of a new template, make a brief description of it and choose its status, draft or completed. The authors are permitted to work only with completed templates.
Once you have clicked OK a new template appears in the templates list. You can see attributes of a chosen template in the attributes area right side the list.
